Manhattan: East Broadway - Montgomery Street East Broadway, west from Montgomery Street, showing a perspective along the north side of this thoroughfare. In the background is the municipal center at City Hall Park distinguished by the tall structures there. Blending together are the Municipal Building, the Woolworth Tower and the slightly lower Transportation Building. These overshadow the latticed approach to the Manhattan Bridge. On the left is the building housing the Jewish Daily Forward. 1939 Beecher Ogden, photo Museum Photographers Assn. Grand Central Terminal
