J. Tompkins House - View of the east and north (front) sides as seen from Old Mill Rd. (63rd Rd.) midway between 99th St. and 102 St. It was owned by J. Tompkins 1852, then Ascan Backus (1860, 1873), then Lever (Mary Elizabeth Backus, Daughter of Ascan, Married J. Howard Lever in 1874). The house was gone by May 1926.
