41st Street Public Paths, ca. 1905. Built in 1904, this bath house was possibly one of the first to be demolished, according to NYC Bath House expert Michael Minn. Its address places it adjacent to or perhaps within the footprint of the 1931-built McGraw-Hill skyscraper. Though a 1956 seems to depict at least a section of the building in place and noted as a bath house.

West 41st Street Baths

Public Bath located at 347 and 349 West 41st Street, Manhattan, architect York & Sawyer. The designs for the 41st Street public bath house were disapproved by the Art Commission on August 12, 1902. The original designs for the façade were rejected due to an abundance of text on the front panel of the building, including the names of the Mayor and the Manhattan Borough President.
