Alice in candyland

Caption: "Alice in candyland--At least that's what it is for 15-month-old Martha Loizaga of 14 Pierrepont St., attending the 'Alice in Wonderland' 62d anniversary party of the Bohack Stores in the store at 156 Henry St. and receiving her free candy from 'Alice' in person. Looking on, besides the older youngsters waiting their turn, are, left to right, Humpty Dumpty (before his great fall), John Chiodine, store manager, and the Mad Hatter (the one in the Mad hat)." Image includes several piles of canned food and four-tier birthday cake.
