Street Scenes - May 1930, Fifth Ave. E. Side at 60 St. The east side of 5th Avenue at 60th Street showing people seated at the base of the statue of General Sherman and on a nearby bench. Across 5th Avenue, the facade of the Central Hanover Bank and Trust Co. can be seen. A number of retail businesses can also be seen in the building next door to Central Hanover, including the Montross Gallery, Remington Automatic Quotation Board, and Louis Berg, Tailor to Men. Pedestrian and automobile traffic can be seen along 5th Avenue.
