Fifth Avenue, east side, north from the Washington Mews (right of No. 1) and across East 8th Street.
The apartment structure, No. 1 Fifth Avenue, occupying the Avenue frontage between the above two points is at the right and only partially appears. Opposite same is the 5-story Hotel Brevoort. This is at the N.E. corner of 8th Street. Above East 9th Street begins the uniform utilitarian apartment dwellings, identified with New York.
