On left, No. 208 will later be remodelled to accommodate the Lincoln Trust Co. On the right, the Cafe Martin occupies the premises recently vacated by Delmonico's, which moved up to 44th Street. Manhattan: Broadway - 25th Street Broadway, east side, between 25th and 26th Streets, the excavation where No. 1132 (210 Fifth Avenue) stood. The 12story Cross Chambers Building, going through to Fifth Aenue, will be constructed on this site. To the left is shown the rear of Cafe Martin, occupied by Delmonico's up to about 1900, which will give way in 1912 to an office building. Soon after this photograph was made, the establishment moved to the N.E. corner of Fifth Avenue and E. 44th Street, where it remained until its demise at the hands of prohibition.
