Newtown - Judge Jonathan T. Furman House - Middle Village

Judge Jonathan T. Furman House - House is on the left, also several barns and outbuildings. Located on the west side of Dry Harbor Road north of Furmanville Ave. (Old Juniper Swamp Rd.). The house was on the site of current 80-16 and 80-20 Cowles Court. The Furman House was built circa 1750, and burned down in 1928. Third building from the right in background is Becker House at 78th St.
