\[Interiors, Ed Lauterbach, Billiard Room.] A billiard room in the residence at 2 East 78th Street of Ed Lauterbach. It appears, however, to be an Asian-theme room because of the paintings hanging on the walls and other decorative art objects in the room. Two suits of armor also hang on the wall.

4 East 78th Street
Manhattan: 78th Street (East) - 5th Avenue. 4 East 78th Street, south side, east of Fifth Avenue (right). Adjacent to the brownstone enumerated in a clearance that forms the "K1" to provide a frontage on the Avenue, between 77th and 78th Streets. The apartment house to arise here is the Kingston. The former home of Mrs. Jacob H. Schiff stood here from about 1901. Occupying the corner locations are the 16 story No. 960 Fifth Avenue and the darker 15 story No. 969. The latter is of recent construction, the former dating from 1926 when the mansion of Senator Wm. A. Clark was razed. This structure was of contemporary construction to the Schiff home.
