Manhattan: 59th Street - 5th Avenue

59th Street (Central Park South), south side, from Sixth to Fifth Avenues. At the right, on the S.E. corner of Sixth Avenue, is the old New York Athletic Club. This will soon be demolished and a new building erected on the S.E. corner of Seventh Avenue and 59th Street. At the left are the hotels Plaza and Savoy-Plaza.
