Department of Public Works. Williamsbridge Reservoir Keeper's House. Douglas Smyth, Architect. Attic and roof plan. Unexecuted design for the Keeper's House at Williamsbridge Reservoir in the Bronx, ca. 1880s. The Keeper's House that did get built (1889-1890) was associated with the Bronx and Byram Rivers water system and is still standing. It was designated a New York City Landmark in 2000 and was listed on the State and National Registers of Historic Places in 1999.

Williamsbridge Reservoir Oval
Map of Williamsbridge Reservoir showing the surface of the ground at the beginning of its construction. After construction of the Catskill system in the 1910s, the reservoir was placed on reserve as an emergency backup water supply. It was drained in 1925, after which its land was transferred to the Department of Parks and converted to Williamsbridge Oval Playground in 1937. May 1885.
