Image represented is one of a related set (ARM 0010), some of which may also be described in this new record; Identical images, cropped differently, of castle-like armory with crenellated round tower at 1322 Bedford Avenuue in Crown Heights; 0010 (10 x 8 in.) shows full view of armory, with automobiles on street, bare trees, and lampposts in foreground; 0014 (12 x 7 in.) shows enlarged close-up, with street cut off at bottom, and men working on roof more visible. Caption on 0014: "MEDIEVAL: The 106th Infantry Armory at Bedford and Atlantic Aves. might well be a castle from the world of King Arthur with its ramparts and turrets. Formerly the 23d Regiment, the 106th was founded in 1862 and has gained acclaim in every war from the Indian to the present."
