Pounds of pennies

Nun wearing habit holds large scale while five boys and one girl empty bags (of coins) onto scale. Caption: "Pounds of pennies--Sister Elizabeth Cress, parish deaconess of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 7420 4th Avenue, looks on smilingly as Sunday School kids of the congregation pour their offerings of pennies into a butcher's scale. When a ton of coins have been collected a stained glass window will be purchased as a 45th anniversary present for the Bay Ridge church."
