Newtown - H. Hawkhurst House - Middle Village H. Hawkhurst House - House and Barn at right, on the east side of Dry Harbor Road, taken from the road bed of Johnson Ave. (now Caldwell Ave.). The house was located in what is now the roadbed of present 84th St., just south of Dry Harbor Rd. Owned by H. Hawkhurst in 1860, then F. Brand 1891, 1896, and later Michael Brand.
