Manhattan: 9th Avenue - 18th Street (West)

Ninth Avenue, east side, north from W. 18th Street (right, not seen), showing a general view of this west side area with one of its arterial transportation lines. Several new apartment buildings are contemplated which will cause radical changes in its contour; one such seen is at the N.E. corner of W. 20th Street. To the right in No. 1 appears a portion of the huge Textile High School. This property, north of 19th Street, and extending to Eighth Avenue, was formerly the easterly part of the Clement C. Moore holdings and has an interesting history. The reader can find same in various quaint publications.
