Manhattan: Washington Street - Watts Street

Washington Street, west side, north from and including Watts Street and showing an empty lot at the S.W. corner of same; formerly the site of Nos. 450 to 454. Across this appears a new 1-story freight station of the Erie Railroad. The latter is at the N.W. corner; a vacant lot in
1922.

A similar view slightly north of the vantage point for No. 1. Note the W.P.A. surface car track removal program under operation. Crosstown traffic seen in the midground is upon Canal Street.
