W. 124th Street, east from St. Iicholas Avenue. Note the Ninth Avenue Elevated Line running in a north and southward direction on Eighth Avenue. The white building seen at the left is now (1938) gone; having been replaced by a business structure. It bears No. 280 St. Nicholas Avenue and is at the N.E. corner.
