Midtown Service Garage
This view encompasses the entire facade of the brick building, which stood on what was once part of a colonial-era roadway known as Trains Meadow Road. The small segment of this roadway that survives today is known as 35th Road. Note fuel truck and water tower at right. Signs on the building advertise "Independent Chevrolet Service, "Exide batteries, and Socony motor oil, among other things.
