Defying change

Old man standing on wharf leaning on wooden structure, with metal pail on top, with right arm and on piling with left hand, portion of dog standing behind him, and bay on right. Caption: "Defying change--Abe Sith, 81, dwells happily in a houseboat on Mill Basin, one of the last havens open to Brooklyn boat owners. Marine Park improvements have scuttled now filled-in Mill Creek, and boats formerly berthed there are filling shipyards and yacht club waters along the shore of Mill Basin."
