Manhattan: Park Avenue - 93rd Street

Park Avenue t N. W. corner of 97rd Street. The old residence, at the time shown occupied by the Ursuline Acedemy, is about to be demolished for s five-story fireproof building. (Note sion hung on the south wsll). It is shown on the 1879 map: it was probably built in that decade, and stood alone in the block for a number
of years.
