Fifth Avenue from 75th to 77th Streets. The tall building in the right background is the Carlyle apartment house at Madison Avenue and 70th Street. The synagogue on the S.E. corner of Fifth Avenue and 70th Street is Temple Beth-El. The apartment
building on and adjoining the N.W. corner of 77th Street includes the site of Senator Clark's mansion, demolished in 1927. May 17, 1933.
