Newtown - White Pot Road - Forest Hills

White Pot Road - (now Fleet St.) south side showing a grey frame house (a Schapman House), opposite Thornton Pl. on a high ground one acre plot. C. Schapman owned in 1896 (there was also another Schapman House across the road). The house was still standing in 1959 as 66-18 Fleet St. and was the Fleet St. Inn. This was the last survivor of the White Pot Houses, it has since been demolished. Photo taken April 1923.
