33-35 West 8th Street, north side, between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, showing two typical Village restaurants, Anne Miller's at 33 and The Bamboo Forest at 35. The Bamboo Forest, a Chinese place, took the premises over about 1932; its predecessor was a Japanese Restaurant.
