Newtown - Albert Inn - Forest Hills

Albert Inn - NE corner Metropolitan Ave. and Union Turnpike, view looks east along Metropolitan Ave. It was built by Becker, son-in-law of William Ulmer (of the Ulmer Brewery). Earlier it was called Autenrieth Hotel, now it is the site of the Interboro Parkway and Forest Park Land. Photo taken Oct. 1923.
