Johnson St. and Brooklyn Bridge Plaza

Section of Cadman Plaza area of Downtown Brooklyn with two trucks and trolley pole and lines in foreground, elevated subway station and trolley car on far left, several pedestrians, several parked vehicles, several commercial and residential buildings and plaza area in background, and intersecting streets. Caption: "Careless motorists make the junction of Johnson St. and Brooklyn Bridge Plaza ... one of the traffic hazards of the borough. Although arrows clearly define the direction in which traffic shall travel around the 'island,' motorists seeking parking space along the Plaza disregard the markers, creating serious danger for pedestrians."
