Manhattan: 1st Avenue - 114th Street
Jefferson Park: A view showing children wading in a shallow pool on the north side of the Park that lies east of First Ave. The photograpdher is viewing northwestward to show buildings on East 114th Street. The 5 story structure with a cross mounted atop same is given as a M.E. Church (no name) by Bromley's Atlas of 1922. It is in this vicinity that the street carnivals for the Feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel are held; the Church being around the corner on East 115th Street.
