Caption: "Plan school's recreational center--Discussing plans for the proposed recreational building for Midwood High School [located at 2839 Bedford Avenue] are, seated left to right, the Rev. Paul H. Scaer, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church; Raymond C. Hebberd, president of the school's P.T.A.; Past Commander Joseph Fallert of Flatlands Post, American Legion, and, standing, Eldon K. Whittall, director of the Mill Basin Civic Association." They appear to be in the school library as there are several shelves of books in background.
