Manhattan: Park Avenue - 41st Street

Preliminary construction work on the Pershing Square Building, Park Avenue, east side, from 41st to 42nd Streets. The Hotel Belmont, which will be torn down in 1931, is seen in the foreground; at the left is a bit of the Murray Hill Hotel, which, though considerably
older than the Belmont, will stand in 1936.
