Manhattan: 5th Avenue - 68th Street

Fifth Ave., east side, south from and including East 68th Street, showing at the S.E. corner of that point a vacant lot upon which stood the home of the late Charles T. Yerkes. Occupying the balance of that block front are the homes of Thomas Fortune Ryan (No. 858), and Alice G. Vanderbilt (No. 1 East 67th Street). The apartment house opposite the latter is No. 856 Fifth Ave. and stands upon the site of the former Judge Elbert H. Gary home. Returning to the foreground one sees partially at the left, the H. P. Whitney home, No. 1 East 68th Street
