East 16th Street, north side, west from Rutherford Place, showing adjoining the N.E. corner of Third Ave. (Elevated line thereon), St. Georges Memorial House, erected by J.P. Morgan, a parishioner at this church. Between this and the Church (right, rear shown) is the Rectory, a 3-story stone structure that is set back from the normal building line and therefor obscured. To the west of Third Ave. is shown the new annex to Washington Irving High School under construction.
