Frederick MacMonnies' fountains

Image represented is one of a related set (PORT 0573), some of which may also be described in this new record; Two views of cupid fountains, created by Brooklyn-born sculptor Frederick MacMonnies, located in the dining rooms of the Knickerbocker Hotel, Broadway and 42nd Street. The hotel was demolished in 1920; the current location of the fountains is unknown.
