Newtown - Remsen House - Rego Park

Remsen House - view of the north addition and garden of the Abraham Remsen House on the east side of Trotting Course Lane opposite Cooper Ave., about 400 feet north of Metropolitan Ave. Abraham Remsen settled here circa 1700, the Remsen Family Burial Grounds are to the south of the house. In the late half of the 19th century the Weeden Family owned, and then Kinsey Family. The house was demolished by August 1925.
