Fifth Ave., (left) at East 23rd Street (right), showing a view of Madison Square Park in a northeasterly direction and across it the tower of Madison Square Garden, on top of same is visible the famous bronze figure "Diana." Madison Square Garden was razed in 1926 and on its site was erected the 25-story New York Life Insurance Company Building.
