Park Ave., east side, from East 50th to 51st Streets. Shown is St. Bartholomew's P.E. Church, organized in 1835. This congregation worship.ed for many years in a church in pafayette Place. A new church was erected in 1876 on Madison Ave., at the S.W. corner of East 44th Strcet. This present edifice being built in 1918-1919, on the site of the old F & M Schaefer Brewery. At the rear of the church appears a portion of the General Electric
Puilding (570 Lexington Ave).
