Forrest Jacobs

Half-length portrait against neutral background of Brooklyn Dodgers farm team second baseman Forrest Jacobs in uniform. Caption: "Forrest Jacobs . . . whose somewhat impressive first handle is buttressed by the even more imposing 'Vandergrift' as his middle tag . . . One of the Flock farmhands who earned 'most valuable player' distinction last year . . . That was with Asheville . . . His right-hand hitting and second-base fielding gave him the accolade for the Tri-State League . . . ".
