A large building on the northeast corner of 5th Avenue and 60th Street, identified on back of photograph as the Metropolitan Club. Several much smaller, lower buildings can also be seen adjacent to the Metropolitan Club, including M. Luhring's Restaurant and Geo. Ringler & Co's. across 61st Street. The Eldridge Gerry residence is visible behind the club.
