Newtown - J. Tompkins House - Rego Park

J. Tompkins House - View of the west side as seen from 99th St., it was old No. 64 Old Mill Rd. (63rd Road), south side, just east of Marlowe Ave. (99 St.) The house had Dutch half doors. It was owned by J. Tompkins 1852, then Ascan Backus (1860, 1873), then Lever (Mary Elizabeth Backus, Daughter of Ascan, Married J. Howard Lever in 1874). The house was gone by May 1926.
