Manhattan: City Hall Park - [Fountain - statue of "Civic Virtue"].

City Hall Park as photographed northeastward from the 24th floor of the New York Telephone &: Telegraph Bldg. Shown is the newly added portion at the apex of this triangular civic zone. This was until recently the site of the old Post Office and Fedoral Bldg. The fountain-statue "Civic Virtue" by MacMonnies still stands in front of the City Hall. This is to be removed to Queens and placed near the new Borough Hall. Note the old "Tweed" County Court House, the new Hall of Records, and the base of the Municipal Bldg. in the background. Broadway is on the left
while on the right is Park Row.
